The B-52's Desktop Theme is a self-installing zip file, click on the link below to download the theme. This theme, when installed, will replace your current desktop theme. 

The theme consists of a background image, 5 desktop icons (one icon is for recycle bin empty), and a set of 13 animated cursors, and all new sound files including start-up and shutdown sound files all designed/ripped by myself. Please feel free to experiment with the colour/font etc of the theme. File size is approx 1.6 Mb

In the XTRAS menu, there is alternate set of desktop icons with transparent backgrounds, and a separate sound file you will need to download and associate with the recycle bin. For some reason, the program I used to create the theme did not allow me to assign a sound when the recycle bin was emptied and it is probably one of the best in the theme! There is also another animated cursor which you can download to replace the rotating pencil cursor if you like.

Again, If I get enough response from users, I have plenty of ideas up my sleeve for new cursors, icons and sounds.

To install your new desktop wallpaper, click on the image to download the file in zip format. Unzip the file to a folder or the desktop. Copy the file to your C:\Windows directory. Right click on your mouse, and select 'Properties' from the pop-up menu. Select the 'Background' tab, then browse for the file and select it. Make sure the 'Picture Display' select box says 'Stretch'. Select 'Apply' then 'OK'. Your done in a cosmic flash!
