Bored with that spinning 'e' or Microsoft logo in the top right hand corner of internet explorer. Well now's the time for a change!

I have designed a rotating B-52's logo which will replace the existing one. Not only it changes the logo in internet explorer, but will also replace the logo in outlook express.

I have included in the XTRAS menu a freeware program that will install your ie logos at the touch of a button. If you like, you can install the logos via the registry and I will show you how in the Help menu if you don't want to download the installer program (recommended for novices).

I have created 3 different size logos to use, so I have zipped all 3 together and I suggest use the size that suits you most. The biglogo file is used in the above picture, the other is smallogo file which is the size you probably have now and smallogo25 is a bit bigger. 

You can also have a different 'static' logo displayed when your browser isn't 'thinking'. Even if you don't use the static logo option, the browser will still display the first frame of the spinning logo when it is inactive. I have included a set of 4 static logos in one zip file below. The installation program in the XTRAS menu will also install the 'static' logos for you, or you can install via the registry if you like. See the HELP menu for registry instructions.

If there is enough response to the logos, I will design more logos based on the B-52's, so let me know what you think.

If you are going to use the installation program in the XTRAS menu, set both values (big and small logo) in the animated logo option to the same file name, otherwise internet explorer will always default to the small logo. Please experiment with these options and you can always revert back to the original logos at the press of a button and no damage is done.

** Please note that in some versions of internet explorer (seems to be version 6) that you may need to re-boot your computer for the changes to take effect, rather than to just re-start internet explorer **

Ok folks, I've been putting my imagination and graphics program to good use over the last few days and have come up with another set of animated logos based on a few album covers. I think these are probably the best I've done so far, any comments/suggestions would be much appreciated. There are 4 new logos in the zip file. Just download and install as per above instructions.
