The normal internet explorer bar is quite boring, right. Wrong!

Along with all the other desktop goodies, I have designed a series of ie skins to replace your old one. Each has a B-52's theme along with the rest of this site. Check out the Tricks & tips menu for a great trick on displaying two different skins in windows and ie.

Currently there are 11 skins available, download 1 or download them all and change it as often as you like. I have included in the XTRAS menu a direct link to a freeware program that will install your ie skins at the touch of a button. If you like, you can install the skins via the registry and I will show you how in the Help menu if you don't want to download the installer program (recommended for novices).

Just click on the ie skin you want to download and save to a folder (you will need to remember the folder name so you can install it later).

Please Note: Some internet explorer add-on's/plug-ins (like the google search bar I use), may mix up the image on the ie toolbar. To correct this, right click on an empty area of the tool bar, and turn off the offending plug-in. Repeat the above and turn it back on again. The skin should now appear correctly.

Disclaimer: Modifying the registry can cause serious problems that may require you to reinstall your operating system. I cannot guarantee that problems resulting from modifications to the registry can be solved. Use this information provided at your own risk.
